Wafting from the glass with a lavish bouquet of dark cherries, raspberries, plums and candied peel. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and enveloping, its generous core of fruit largely concealing a chassis of fine but youthfully firm tannins, underpinned by succulent acids. This is both youthfully approachable and sufficiently structured to enjoy over a decade's longevity.
