This is the first wine that has oak in the nose, not overpowering, but definitely present.Spicy, red fruit, sweet red cherry, a little bit of strawberry and a nice little chunk of toasty french oak. Mouth is bright. Lots of red fruit on the palate, oak, but also wet stone. Very long finish. It hasnt peaked yet. Itll drink for the next 15 years.
