Julia & Navines Cava Brut Nature NV -This is a new era for Cava, the Spanish sparkling wine made according to the principles of Mthode Traditionnelle, as it comes out of the shadow of other leading sparkling wine styles and begins to cause serious waves around the wine world.
Juli & Navins, a small, independent winery located on a hillside above Spains rocky northeastern coast, is firmly part of this movement. The family has grown vines and made still wines and Cava here since the early 20th century, but it was only in 1985 that they started to sell their wines under the brand name Juli & Navins.The Masia (the Catalan word for a type of farmhouse or rural construction) Navins is located in Font-Rub, Alt Peneds, Barcelona. Over the horizon one can see an endless landscape of vineyards, olive trees and grains, the three pillars of the Mediterranean diet. It is a very special place where the climatic conditions and the perfect balance of Mediterranean soils combine to create a privileged site, perfect for growing vines.
J.L. Denois Brut Classique NV -Refreshing and fruity, nice red berry finish. Great Intensity, length and depth to rival Champagne. Organically grown. Hand-picked and transported in small cases. Pressing of whole-grapes and selection of juices. Second fermentation in bottles and ageing with lees for 3 years on racks (traditional method). Tilted and shaken before disgorging and final corking. Received a small dose of around 7 g of sugar per liter. Goes with Aperitif, beginning of meal, pasta, cold meats, fish and seafood, sushi and salads.
Jean Diot Extra Brut NV -Our Extra Brut Vintage champagne is ageing in cellar during 48 months minimum, while legislation require a minimum of 15 months of bottling. 40% Chardonnay, for elegance and finesse, 40% Pinot Noir for body and structure and 20% Pinot Meunier for fruity taste. Expressive on the first nose with citrus fruits and fresh fruits. More explosive on the second nose with spicy evolution (cinnamon, vanilla) and dried fruits.
