First, a few words about the origin of our name. Yahyn or "yayin" is an ancient Hebrew name dating to the Old Testament, which translates to "wine." Used to describe a "fermented beverage" in several Bible stories, it presented us with an opportunity to embrace centuries-old traditions and gave it our unique twist. However, Yahyn is more than just a few stories about wine. It is the passionate journey of a group of wine lovers, aficionados, and technologists determined to create a new way to distribute, buy, and consume wine.
Yahyn is the brainchild of noted entrepreneur, Pierre Rogers, whose financial acumen is surpassed by his passion for creating life and business-changing enterprises that revolutionize the way we function as a society.

The Method: A Wine Revolution.
Put merely, Yahyn is the best and most straightforward way to get the best possible bottle of wine for the perfect occasion. Our simple, question-based artificial intelligence platform helps you discover your flavor profile from countless possibilities, thus tailoring your search results from your profile into a useful find. The process is rather simple; wineries are integrated with the Yahyn platform through an API, (Application Programming Interface,) then buyers choose from its massive inventory aggregator and find the bottle that is most ideally suited to their preferences (based on a proprietary scientific method that correctly predicts taste). From that point on, the transaction is processed through the platform, and the winery/retailer fulfills the order. Finally, a 2-step review process is initiated between buyer and seller, resulting in a mutually satisfying transaction.

Meet the Team
Founder & CEO
Pierre was the youngest SVP at Columbia Management (asset management arm of Bank of America) before airlifting sales and distribution team to Prudential Asset Manager. He is a passionate entrepreneur, having started and sat as a board advisor on four previous companies. He is also the former Senior Director at Alumni Ventures group, the most active VC in space before founding Yahyn.
Serial entrepreneur served as a lead auditor and tax accountant for Rowley and Associates a mid-market corporate CPA firm, Sr. Corporate Analyst for Performance Sports Group, and most recently, served as the SVP of Finance and Operations in the development of Alumni Ventures Groups back end systems, facilitating its hyper-growth phase.
A seasoned technology executive. Robert was instrumental to the development of such companies as; Appfolio, Procore, and Lookout.com, where his work help developed Lookout's overall revenue stream, creating more than $1B in valuation while being distributed over 180 million mobile devices. He was the first employee at Groupsite.com, an innovative online platform dedicated to communication, collaboration, and networking. He is responsible for all aspects of our technology development platform and is an essential and central figure at the core of Yahyn.
He has been responsible for creating brand images and strategy for luxury spirit brands House of Carbonadi, Louis XIII Cognac, Taittinger Champagne, and many other luxury lifestyle brands such as VanDutch Yachts, Gulfstream Aviation, Pagani Automobile, and other recognized car brands.
Director of Business Development
With over 20 years of experience in the wine business, Stu leads our business efforts. After a successful career with internet advertising giant DoubleClick, Stu went to work in the wine industry, initially joining a leading South American importing company. He spent the next eight years learning all he could about wine and the highly regulated import and distribution process involved in bringing a product to market. He then branched out to form his own importing company, bringing South American and European wines to the U.S., later venturing into the Spirits market. Wine is not just a part of Stu’s career, it is his passion, as he avidly collects wines from all over the world, with a focus on California, Burgundy, and Northern Rhone. He otherwise enjoys sports, and most of all spending time with his family and two Weimaraners.
Natalie oversees the day to day operation of the office and supports the executive team. She has spent the last 20 years in a forward-facing customer service role. She is a hard worker, fast thinker, and is committed to finding a solution that is both beneficial to customer and service provider. She recently relocated to New England from Hawaii where she had been a horseback trail guide for a large ranch and resort for over 6 years. As a military spouse, she has had to constantly adapt to changing surroundings. She knows how to make anyone feel comfortable regardless if they are sitting in a bank, a bar, or saddle for the first time. She has even been an “extra” riding a horse in a Zac Efron movie. When she is not working, she is spending time with her daughter riding their horses and playing piano at her local church. She is a Bachelor’s Degree recipient from the University of Hawaii in Social Sciences and is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.
Mr. Cooper is our principal investor and a noted entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience. Most recently, he was the Founder and CEO of Ebbu, LLC, which completed a successful exit through the acquisition of Ebbu by Canopy Growth Corporation
Mr. Nestor is a serial entrepreneur who served as former global head of Strategic Planning/M&A at Bacardi, who integrated the acquisition of Bombay Gin and Dewars Scotch. Former CFO of Fairway Market, a large scale Grocery chain. Additionally, he served as a Finance Manager at PepsiCo.
President of York Creative Collective, where she leads the strategy and operations of York Creative Collective. Former Global CEO of Arnold Global Network. Before Arnold, Ms. Hamlin was the Managing Partner and Director of Client Services at Leonard/Monahan. She currently serves on the boards of the Cambridge Trust Company, Netra, Inc., and the Massachusetts Women's Forum.
Noted artist and entrepreneur Chris "Ludacris" Bridges is no stranger to wanting to change the world. He is the founder of recording label, Disturbing Tha Peace. In addition to his music career, he is the co-owner of Conjure Cognac liquor and the owner of the "Chicken N Beer" restaurant in Atlanta. He is also the founder and creator of Karma's World.
